Finished crutching best Waikanae hoggarts. In evening Ida, Clare Dora + I drove down to skating rink. Maud + Alice were there + Maud + I had several turns – she is learning + I took her round also. Was presented with a pair of skates by old Schlager for best (gents) costume at Carnival last Tuesday
