Levin sale – prices for fat stock up – wethers fetched 23/6 + ewes 10/6. Finished getting signatures for Democratic vote on Liquor Question. Saw Maud in town. In evening Ida D[aniells] Clare, Dora + I drove down to first of Miss Duff’s assembly dances in Druid’s Hall – scarcity of gentlemen – spent a very enjoyable evening even though I was not able to dance the Valeta, the D’Alberto, Military two step, etc.
