Father + I rode up to South Block. Inspected east boundary fence where Gil + Anstice are working – they have got in post[s] nearly down to Ohau River now + ready for barb wires. We all mustered the 150 odd 2-tooth (“young”) ewes + brought them down for crutching. Visited the Lancasters in evening + showed them + Mr France photos of my Napier-Taupo trip.
