Put up the temporary barb-wire fence in CK p[addock] to cut of S[outh] E[ast] corner for grazing with bullocks + put up part of the cyclone fence in CK p. cutting off about 2 ac[res] of swedes for hoggarts. Cold windy night. Rode down to rly [railway] station to 7.37 pm train to meet Maud on her return from Otaki – drove home with her leading “Fanny”. Visited Public Library, did some shopping, home early.
