Threatening sky but practically no rain. Continued shearing my ewes - got in good mornings work but soon after dinner pin in engine parted and stopped us. Got a new pin + it cut through almost immed.

-iately, so unable to shear the last 57 ewes. Put thro' 112, Clif 56, Self 56. Took shorn ewes + lambs back to far 42, gave the 57 woolies a feed + put them in night-pen Very hot sultry night
