Drove the 22 steers back to Sonoma + put them with 9 others from Leighton p[addock] on Top p. - saw 4 others in Leighton p. + found another dead there, cast on some small logs = 6 missing. Deluge of rain came on, so after shepherding ewes + lambs + finding one ewe drowned returned home. Spent pm + evening drawing maps of Hatuma district. Roof leaking + running down walls in front bedroom.
