A lovely fine day at last. Did some photo prints + commenced writing a paper on "Some Changes in Drainage on the Tararua Foothills" (the Heights Basin + Poruriri Ridge) for the Wgton [Wellington]. Philo. Soc. After dinner rode up to Sonoma + moved ewes + lambs from lower part Leighton p[addock]. to 100 ac. p + the 47 steers from Mill to Top. p. Over to Cheslyn Rise to tea + to church in the evening. Strong easterly in pm evening.
