After dinner, Maud, Nancy + I drove down to Levin's 13th A + P Show leaving Gertie at home in charge of Clyde. In spite of a dull threatening morning the afternoon turned out hot + sunny. Did the usual routine - saw the sideshows, watched events from grandstand afternoon tea +c. Nancy very lively - she made numerous advances to other children but usually got the coled shoulder. The

prettiest girl on the grounds, so far as I coudl see was Maud, attired in white costume with navy blue facings + hat to match - very proud of her. In evening wrote up notes for my geological notebook.
