Over to Cheslyn Rise - Clif + I shore a dozen lambs to fill bale - Clif 5 Self 7. Mustered the second lot of UR ewes + dagged. Pressed 5 bales of wool. Clif + I started to shear a few ewes to fill bale + as i was finished my first sheep I backed against the "grinder" which I had left running + sustained a nasty gash, 1 3/4" long + 1/2" deep, in muscle above

hip bone. Clif + Father washed the wound with Jeyes + in evening Clif drove Maud + I down to Dr bryson who drew it together with sticking plaster.
