Rain in night + stormy day. Over to Cheslyn Rise - father, Clif, George + I branded + took up to South Block 27 steers. Inspected south + east bdy [boundary] fences. Father, Clif +I went through bush beyond east bdy to inspect + found good easy spurs + flats in bottom of East Creek valley. John Herd came to stay a couple of nights. Half-yearly report to Da lg[ety] + Co:- Sheep - 350 lambs at 12/- 80 2-tooth ewes @ 22/6 4 - 8 tooth ewes 25/- 13 rams 2 gns [guineas]. Breeding ewes
