Jimmy McKenzie + I rode up to Sonoma - shore in sheep-yards 4 ewes + 7 lambs. Pulled late foxgloves on Mill, 100 ac[re] + Top paddocks. Scorching hot day + tried firing on Leighton p[addock] (heaps) but not much success. George Broomfield arrived back from the war + is staying at Cheslyn Rise.
