Hugh left us to-day - he sials shortly with 41st Reinf (mounted). Percy, Clif + I rode up to Sonoma - mustered ewes + lambs into yards + docked 287 lambs. The ewes numbered 354 (about 30 short) + the ewe hoggets 64 (about 20 short). Trass came down + found two of his ewes. Got thro' the job very successfully.
