Worked at paper "Further Notes on Horo[whenua] Coastal Plain". Took 1/4 pl[ate] photo (1) Nancy on platform at back porch + (2) Gertie holding Nancy at front door steps. Nancy spent day at Cheslyn Rise + Marjorie brought her back. Got word of Dora in trouble - miscarriage. Gerite + I drove to church in evening.
