Over to Cheslyn Rise + worked in Gravel-pit p[addock]. all day. Drove Maud + Nancy to Levin early in evening + went down again myself later. Met Mr France to discuss Dr. Cotton's paper "Geomorpholoy [sic] of Coastal Dist[rict] SW W'gton [Wellington]", + found that he is rather impressed by Dr. Cotton's theories.
