Stormy day. Rode up to Sonoma - moved ewes + 42 steers from 100 ac[re] to Top p[addock]. (4 already there) + 2 steers to Mill p + 3 poor ones to Ram p. One steer still missing. Worked at Leighton-Grange p. fence - clearing line + cutting lengths of hinau. Read "The War Wedding", by CN + AM Williamson.
