Finished putting up fresh line of cyclone across turnips in Cow p[addock]. Father, Clif + I rode up to South Block to shepherd + found 2 dead ewes. At dinnertime I took round of bearings with compass from points on South Bl[oc]k bdy [boundary] fence + branch road (previously chained) to start a map of valley + more particuarlly of Sonoma. Drove to Levin

after hayfeeeding cattle at Cheslyn Rise. Got a batch of young wattles from Mr Whitaker + did some shopping.
