Overview
Wed. May 22
Showery stormy day. Finished fence for wattle plantation in far 42 + ticked off other odd jobs. Spurred on by the fat that Mr CA Cotton has written a paper on the "Physiography of Coastal District of South-western Wellington, I started to re-write + amplify my paper on "The Ohau River + Adjacent Coastal Plain" published in Trans[actions] [of the] NZ Inst[itute] some years ago + made good progrerss. Looking back at the published account, I find it amateurish + faulty, but find the maps are excellent + the theories still hold good.
