Worked at wattle plantation fence in far 42 + nearly finished it. Trass left the new yellow pup, Tweed, born middle Dec[ember]r 1917. Rode down to Levin sale - met Maud, Winnie,+ Nancy in town + had tea at the "Taieri". Inspected Mr Rod McDonald's steers but did not buy. Drove down to Mr Whitaker's in evening + submitted my plans of trap shed + lining of front room for an estimate cost.
