Father went to Wgton [Wellington]. Rode up to Sonoma. Blocked a track across Main Ravine which ewes are using to get to 100 ac[re] p[addock]. Rode to hilltop for tools + then went on with "Cleft" cliff fence on Ohau Flat. Cut, split + carried to line 17 hinau posts - put in 4 angle posts + put earth on the bridge.
