Rode up to Sonoma. Cut patches C[alifornian] thistle. Took 2 photos 1/2 pl[ate] of the new traffic bridge showing pile-driver at work. Rode over to Ohau Flat + started the cliff fence round the dangerous cleft. Cleared

line - made bridge over the stream - cut angle posts + carried them out. Home late + found Miss Bowles doctoring Nancy who has a cold + is cutting her back teeth. Drove Miss B home + later drove to Levin for shopping.
