Over to Cheslyn Rise - finished cutting down smashed willow boughs + piling in heaps. Made a new style + new bridge over Koputaroa Stream. Later Father + I rode round shepherding. Hugh Herd arrived to stay over weekend with us. He is in uniform + is on leave from Featherston Camp - he is a trooper of the 41st Reinf[orcements] Mounteds. He + I drove to Levin in the evening.
