Overview
Thurs Jan. 17
Dull morning + no chance of getting in hay. Mowed orchard - very heavy crop here. After dinner drove up to Sonoma + brought down the surveyor McRoberts + his chainman, Mr William Kennedy + took them to station to catch the 6.30pm train - they have now completed the survey of the hilltop block at Sonoma. Received my wool returns tonight :-
8 bales Ewes 151/2 d
1 " Hgts [Hoggets] 15 1/4 d
2 " Lambs 15 d
Good prices + I am very pleased.
