Overview
Fri. Jan. 11
Splendid steady rain all day till about 3 pm. Over to Cheslyn Rise + shore 4 sheep for Father. Continued sewing together my sacking stack sheet. Later in pm continued mowing hay round house - very heavy, job on account of rank growth + grass lying in all directions. In evening Father rode over to see us - Nancy had gone to bed but hearing voices she got up + looked through the window, so she had to be taken up + when given a ride on the "gee-gee" was very gay.
