Rain during night + all morning, a good soak at last. Odd jobs in house + in afternoon fenced enclosure for haystack in little horse p[addock], made hay frame for sledge etc. Half yearly report to Dalgety + Co :-

50 2-tooth ewes @ 22/6
395 4-8 [tooth] ewes @ 25/-
3 2 [tooth] wethers @ 22/6
10 Rams @ 2 gns [guineas]
All sheep in good condition + doing well. The 53 hoggets (now 2-tooths) came through the winter without a single loss.
Cattle:- 34 2yr steers @ £8
Cattle in excellent condition.
Gig pony, chesnut, Mare, Silvermane £8Leasehold:- area 370 ac[re] Rent £150 quarterly
