Up early & over to Cheslyn Rise - marked Father's 733 hoggets with raddle & drafted our 21 best wethers, & took rest, ewes & inferior wethers, up to South B[oc]lk. Mustered Father's UR ewes & lambs into yards, Kay picked

out his sheep + we then drove our lot down to Cheslyn Rise.had a very bad time, sheep woudl not travel - I left to go to Levin at 6.45 + Father + Clif did not get the mob to Stewart p[addock] till 9 pm -a 5 hours drive.
