Rode up to Sonoma - put diseased steer in Ram p[addock] for inspector to see. Pulled foxgloves on Ohau Flat (6 h[ou]rs) but did not finish flat as there seems to be about three times as many foxgloves here as last year. Drizzle during day but lovely evening - we have had splendid growing weather lately but rather too much rain.
