Rode up to Sonoma – carried coil wire to hilltop on horse-back. Lambing has commenced + I saw 18 lambs which seemed a good size + lively. Carried out + put in 9 posts in the Leighton-Top p[addock] fence. Ground very rocky + a good deal of benching required.
