My 29th. Frank + I continued top-dressing CK p[addock]. Ran out 21 cwt [hundredweight] of Ephos before dinner and on acc[ount] of rain only 9 cwt in pm. Man came looking for work + asked for tea, bed, + breakfast. Father to W gton [Wellington].
