Windy, dull day. Took Silvermane + the young horse to Levin to be shod - visited Mr Newport's orchard + ordered 18 apple trees, 7 Arancaria imbricata + 100 Pinus muricata for planting at Woodside. In pm sledged up firewood + started laying pipe in head of swamp hollow.
