At 11.30 Maud Nancy + I drove down to the north side of Lake Papaitonga + followed the lovely track through the bush. The bush is wonderful + teems with interesting shrubs, some of which I collected for planting at "Woodside". Took a 1/4 pl[ate] photo (1) of track thro' [through] bush + one (2) of a glimpse of the Lake.
