Drove down to Levin sale taking Maud + baby to Abbey's for lunch. Lambs in great demand but other lines mostly passed in. Later in pm visited dentist - torrential shower of rain but Mrs Lucas kindly lent Maud an umbrella + coat to go home in. Read "Romance Island" by Zona Gale.
