Rode up to Sonoma + walked up to hilltop. Fired patch of cut scrub at top of main Wedge Spur. Continued clearing burned + other timber off East bdy fence preparatory to mending + straining wires for along nearly to "1st burn" Inspected east b[oun]d[ar]y fence on Ohau slope + found a few battens burned by Monday's fire which also thinned out some fair-sized patches of the high scrub but only enough to let cattle through a bit. Mustered the ewes + rams in Mill p. into the Ram p. for night arranging with Trass boys to let them out in morning. Stifling night with light showers of rain.
