Another scorching day. George + I rode up to Sonoma + mustered ewes + lambs from Leighton p[addock] to Mill p. + from Top p. to Mill p. Fired sawdust + it burned well. While being mustered a ewe with two lambs broke its leg up in the shoulder + had to be left.
