Finished making the "treasure cot". After early dinner rode down to Abraham + Williams cattle fair - big yarding - Father bought 60 3yr steers at £6.19.6 - these are mostly well bred Holsteins + Shorthorns, big boned, the only weak point being that they from Dr. Wall's Moutoa Estate + are therefore unsuitable for wintering on the hills. Steady rain all day - big lot of buyers + keen bidding most lines being sold. Put my purchase in far 42 where there is good feed now.
