Rode up to Sonoma + continued working with Mr. Trass at Narbey's b[oun]d[ar]y fence on Stuckey's side. Cut, split + put in four posts, strained up wires + straightened up battens. Inspected fence up to NW corner of Sonoma + found it required only five more posts + straining up, for which we were very thankful. Counted the 25 steers on Mill p[addock] + moved ewes + lambs back into Leighton p[addock]. Very cold night after a glorious hot day.
