George + I rode up to Sonoma to dock - mustered Leighton p[addock] in 3 hours + got ewes + lambs into yards without a hitch. 147 ewes + 121 lambs = 82% - left one ewe + lamb on hills. Put them back on Leighton p[addock]. Counted both lots of cattle + fired big rata on track at top of Leighton Spur after George left. In evening Maud + I drove down to Methodist Church sale of work - bought a root each of variegated flax + bamboo.
