Joined Mr. Kay at 9 am + we rode uo tp Sonoma + repaired the Matakiha b[oun[d]ar]y fence on the narrow strip of land - a big tawa uprooted by the gale had lifted fence into air. Got Kay's cattle out of Mill p[addock]. Started re-pairing post + rail block above Ram p. + worked at crossing over Main Ravine near 100 ac[re] p. north fence.
