Drove down to Cheslyn Rise en route for Levin A + P Show - the 10th. Dinner at the "Taieri Rooms". Good attendance at Show but fewer stock entries, events + side-shows. One of the last - 'Fleurette, the perfect woman', had a perfectly disgraceful series of paintings of naked women on the screen in front. Spent some time on lawn + grandstand, meeting a few friends but satisfied with each others company for most part. The bulk of the crowd was in a state of excessive perspiration owing to intense heat. Drove back up to whare arriving at 7.40 pm.
