Engravings of Brazilian plants

Some 23 species from Brazil are represented by black and white engravings in Te Papa’s collections.

A set of six engravings per species was sent to New Zealand in the late nineteenth century. Te Papa holds four engravings for most of the species, with a total of 88 proofs.
