Engravings of Australian plants

Some 337 Australian species are represented by black and white engravings in Te Papa’s collections.

A set of six engravings per species was sent to New Zealand in the late nineteenth century. Te Papa holds four engravings for most of the Australian species, with a total of 1360 proofs.
