Docked long-tailers in Father's UR flock. Visited my house - Mr. Whitaker has now got the frame of the walls up + it all looks very strong + good. Rode up to North Block. Mustered ewes + lambs off Mill p[addock] in yards - Tress helped me dock 15 more lambs - he found 5 ewes + 2 lambs of his in this lot - my total no. of lambs is now 241. Put ewes + lambs on Top p. using 100 ac[re] p.east fence for first time. Found dead ewe cast on Ohau Flat. Commenced preparing for Maud's stay at the whare - built a picturesque little WC in grove behind Kopje, + started clearing superfluous tools etc. out of whare putting them in other whare + big shed.
