Sat. June. 26.
Very wet day. Mr. Kay + I rode up river to get some of my steers off his place. We found 6 + took thm through Mill p[addock] into south end, also picking up + moving 12 of the 15 steers on Mill p. Had lunch at my whare. Found ram with broken leg still alive + put him on Ram p. Found a ewe gone wrong on hills, doctored + put her in sheep y[ar]ds on short feed. Went up hill shepherding but fog so thick returned. Home at night + rode to Levin in evening.
