Tues. Apr. 20.
R. Scott + I rode up to North Block to camp. We walked up to Narby's spur to the part of the north bdy [boundary] fence I'm erecting, cut the remaining 70 battens for same + put them on, finishing this long neglected job. Later we put an hour into clearing the line for the east bdy fence commencing at Narby's bdy + doing a chain or so. In evening read " I. Tembarom" a really great tale.
