Fine hot day. Father, Andy, Scott + I rode up to North Block + finished sowing the 2nd "birn" on hilltop. Started at top of Leighton's Spur + worked south over Leading Wedge Spur to where we stopped the other day. This was the worst part of the "burn" + a terrible mess. We have a lot of seed over as a result of unburned patches not worth sowing. After work Father + I moved four steers off Mill p[addock] on to South end; these included a staggy steer (£ 4-7-0) lot which has been jumping fence into Narby's.
