Blazing hot day. D + S Morgan shore rest of "old" ewes + most of "mid" ditto. Very heavy dagging - spent most of day rolling wool. Mustered "young" ewes Terrace to yards - worked 6.30 am to 8pm. Father in charge of gang in 10 ac[re] haypaddock. Very heavy crop owing to top-dressing. Received a most delicious letter from Maud.
