The five of us rode up to South Block + cut scrub in the valley of South Creek. Windy morning, but turned out hot in afternoon. Laing cut about 2 or 3 acres of hay in 10 ac[re] p[addock]. Received from Maud a charming letter headed "Darling King of me".
