Father, Gil, Dick Anstice + I rode up to North Block. We carried the two 1 cwt [hundredweight] coils of barb wire (two men to each coil) from whare up to Ohau Summit via Main Spur. After dinner finished clearing line of fence up to the still standing bush, + also finished logging up "burn" on Summit. When the others left Anstice + I put in a few more posts, + stayed at whare for the night.
