Father, Anstice + I rode up to North Blk - walked up to Ohau Summit to muster my steers. Anstice took the Ravine Spur, Father the Track Spur + I went down the east bdy fence-line to the Ohau. I found two steers in the dense scrub half way down + two more in the bush at bottom. The scrub soaking wet so got wet through. The dogs worked well + mustered 28 of the steers. There are also 3 steers on Leighton's p., 2 on Mill p. + one on Kay's, leaving 4 missing. We put the steers we mustered on to the (Mother returned from Wgtn)

Mill p. Mustered my ewes off the Mill p. + put them back on Leighton p. After lunch at whare we rode out to top of Leighton's Spur + measured the (2nd) block of bush which is to be filled this year. In the evening I worked its area out at 16.7 acres. Plan:- [sketch here
