Showery dull day - the little drought which we have been enjoying for the past week or so, is over. Father, Gil, Jim Anstice, Clifford + I rode up to North Block + cut some more scrub on the Foxtail Spur, ie. on the lower part of spur to the west of propsed 100 ac p. fence. There is left a thick mass of about 2 acres partly on the Foxtail Spur + partly on the East Low Hill. To-day we saw most of my 36 head of cattle + they appear to be doing very well - they have now pretty well eaten out the Ohau Flat but have not

made any attempt to go up the hill. In evening showed Miss Gwen Lockie my stamps + photos subjects in which she is much interested. Wet night.
