Anstice + I up to North Block + went on putting posts in Ohau R. fence - very bad sinking but job in 15 posts + broke back of job. After work we took swags of clothes over to whares ready for camping + then I returned + swung the Ohau R gate. Stopped work 6.10 pm. At home the others mixed seed for 'burns' on North Bl[oc]k, dipped 576 of Kay's sheep + bought 32 2+3 yr steers at £5-17-6.
